In an environment naturally suited to or associated with one; doing what one enjoys. For example, He's in his element when he's doing woodworking .

معنی: عمرش نیست وقتی نجاری میکنه یا عشق میکنه وقتی با چوب کار میکنه

عجیب‌ترین جمله در زبان انگلیسی!!!

این جمله با کلمه ای یک حرفی آغاز می شود٬ کلمه دوم دو حرفیست٬‌ چهارم چهار حرفی... تا بیستمین کلمه بیست حرفی .نویسنده این جمله یا مغز دستور زبان بوده یا بی کار:

I do not know where family doctors acquired illegibly perplexing handwriting nevertheless, extraordinary pharmaceutical intellectuality counterbalancing indecipherability, transcendentalizes intercommunications incomprehensibleness

نمیدانم این دكترهای خانواده گی این دست خطهای گیج کننده را از کجا کسب میکنند.با این حال سواد پزشکی انها غیر قابل کشف بودن این دست خط ها را جبران کرده و بر غیر قابل کشف بودن انها ( دست خط ) برتری میجوید

Poll: British women prefer good texters

 

LONDON, July 11 (UPI) -- A survey suggests British women often judge the character of prospective mates based on their text messaging abilities:

لندن 11 جولای – مطالعه نشون میده که زنان انگلیسی اغلب درباره شخصیت همسر محتمل آینده شون از پیامک هایی که می فرسته قضاوت میکنن.

76 percent of female respondents said they judge potential dates by analyzing their texting style:

76 درصد شرکت کنندگان دراین تحقیق گفتند که با تحلیل کردن پیام کوتاه ها(ی افرادی که باهاشون در رابطه هستن) درباره جفت احتمالي شون نظر میدن.

Forty-one percent of women polled said they are turned off by poor spelling and grammar -- including popular text shorthand such as using the letter "c" in place of "see" -- and 67 percent said they would be more likely to be impressed by a man who sends longer texts that include wit, humor and flirtatious undertones:

41 درصد گفتند که گرامر و هجای غلط پیامک ها مثلا مختصر نویسی هایی مثل نوشتن c بجاي see  اونا رو كم ميل و رغبت ميكنه! 67 درصد گفتند مردی که پیغام های طولانی ای بفرسته که ته رنگ شوخ طبعی و عشوه گری داشته باشه ، اونا رو بیشتر تحت تاثیر قرار میده !  

However, the survey said poor spellers should beware when considering a phone call as a substitute for texting, as 88 percent of women polled said they prefer to converse by text and 37 percent said men seem more "desperate" over the phone than in text messages:

با وجود اینکه تحقیق نشون داد اونایی که خوب هجا نویسی نمی کنن بهتره بجای پیامک نگاری ، مکالمه تلفنی کنن ، 88 درصد زنان مورد تحقیق گفتن که ترجیح میدن بوسیله "متن" گفتگو کنن و 37 درصد هم گفتن که مردها  پشت تلفن ، معمولا " مایوس و نومید" بنظر میرسن تا توی پیغامهاشون.

He told MPs he wanted to scrap birth control policies that discourage Iranian couples from having more than two children.  one lesson of Iraq is that occupying and holding onto territory needs manpower. Perhaps it's intended to enable Iranian regional expansion in a generation. Another scenario would be the hope of ensuring that Iran has enough population to support retired workers later this century

Despite our oil wealth today, still many ordinary people need several jobs to make ends meet, imagine another 50 or 60 million with no work, no money and told the easy lie that its the great Satan

I am not supposed to conclude like this but, unfortunately, we need to understand that Muslim leaders, like in Palestine and Iran, hate western countries more than they love their children

It's getting too crowded six feet under

تیرانا ( پایتخت آلبانی)- ساکنان این شهر سعی میکنن مرگشون رو به تاخیر بندازن! تا دولت و شورای شهر به جر و بحث خود در رابطه با کمبود فضا در قبرستان های این شهر خاتمه بدن:

TIRANA (Reuters) - Tirana residents are trying to put off dying until the government and city officials end their row over space shortages in the Albanian capital's graveyards

شهرداری تیرانا یکی از دو گورستان این شهر رو بسته و گفته که اون یکی هم فقط برای ۱ هفته دیگه فضا برای تدفین اموات داره. از دولت هم بخاطر امتناع کردن از سلب مالکیت زمین های اطراف که فضای کافی رو برای دو سال دیگه ی گورستان تامین میکنن انتقاد میکنه:

دولت دموکرات آلبانی مناقشه های زیادی با شهرداری تیرانا ( که از سوسیالیست های مخالف دولتند ) داره: از مسائل مربوط به گورستان گرفته تا خودداری شهرداری از  صادر کردن گواهی های زاد و ولد و مرگ و میر بعلت اینکه .......؟؟؟؟؟

دو خبر - دو اصطلاح

تف انداختن (روم بدیوار) در معرض عموم در هند معموله.اما این عمل باعث شده یک افسر تو هچل قرار بگیره:

"رائو" به دانشجویانی که دربرابر افزایش شهریه شون معترض شده بودند تف انداخت! والدین از او سخت عصبانی شدن و علیه ش شکایت کردند:

پلیس مجبور شد در برابر بلوای براه افتاده ۳ ماه به رائو -که ۷ سال سابقه خدمت داره - حقوق نصفه نیمه پرداخت کنه:

The incident is a black spot on the image of the people-friendly police in this district

Cannabis plants removed from Berlin foster home

( دستور زدایش گیاهان شاهدانه - در اینجا ماریجوانا - از محوطه پرورشگاهی در برلین)

  A Berlin foster mother was ordered to remove a marijuana crop her teenage son had been growing in the garden where six small children under her care have been playing

Either the plants are removed or the children will be taken away, a church staff member, told the newspaper. One of the childs was seen carrying the plants away in plastic crates

Chicken lays mystery Allah egg

آلماتی - قزاقستان. در یک روستا مرغی تخمگذاری کرده که برروی پوسته ی تخم مرغ نام "الله" حک شده!

ALMATY (Reuters) - A chicken in a Kazakh village has laid an egg with the word "Allah" inscribed on its shell, state media reported Thursday

یک کشاورز ساکن روستا میگه:

Our mosque confirmed that it says 'Allah' in Arabic

 

ما از آن نگهداری میکنیم و فکر نمیکنیم که این تخم مرغ فاسد بشه یا از بین بره:  

"We'll keep this egg and we don't think it'll go bad"

(go bad: become unfit for consumption or use )

اونطور که خبرگزاری میگه مرغ بعد از یک طوفان تگرگ شدید این تخم رو گذاشته   

The news agency said the egg was laid just after a powerful hail storm hit the village

قزاقستان یکی از ایالت های وسیع آسیا با گستره ی پراکنده ی جمعیتی ( کم جمعیت) است و" تسنن" مذهب غالب در آنجاست:

Thinly: In a widely distributed manner :  thinly overgrown mountainside

نکته: حقیقت اینه که دنیا خیلی نسبت به اسلام بدبین شده . در جستجوی عکسی برای مطلب بودم که این عکس رو دیدم. نظر دو بلاگر خارجی رو هم میتونید بخونید. نظراتی که گفتنش برای ما "شرم آور"ه.
